The last few weeks have been quite busy due to the pile of schoolwork and tests that had to be taken care of. Despite the busy schedule, I decided and started weight training because I was having a hard time gaining weight and getting to the level of strength that I was on before I got Covid. I started with a 45 days push/pull/legs split of which I am nearly a month in and I am already starting to see results. My strength has improved a lot and I've also put on some weight.
My decision to start working out also caused me to shift my sleeping schedule. With classes during the day, I can only make time for the gym either early in the morning or in the evening. I started working out in the evening at first but got disenchanted very quickly as the gym would be super busy and I would often have to wait to use an equipment. With so many people in such a small space sharing equipments, I also had concerns with the hygiene. So I now wake up at 4:30 and go to the gym first thing in the morning when the gym is the most sanitized and there is no one and I am really enjoying it.
With most of the schoolwork taken care of, I have now started learning German. I am currently following an A1 series on Youtube and spending about 30 mins on it daily. I plan to spend this week working on my personal projects and playing some games before I start preparing for my finals that start at the end of this month.
